What is Politics?
Politics is a field of science in government and managing the country better in the future. Political science is very much needed in building a better and more advanced country in the future. Therefore, politics is very important and should be a means for us to form a sovereign and prosperous country. In this regard, there is something we should remember and understand that politics is not only good for the progress and movement of the government of a country, however politics is also cruel.
Why are they called cruel?
Aren’t they the ones who help organizing the world community to be orderly? Yes, that’s right, indeed they are a place to collect people’s aspirations which will be forwarded to state leaders. However, we often see in the world that in these communities, politics is used as a place to boast because they forget themselves.
In addition, their high position often blinds them to the little people below, and they certainly make their position as a political party to show off their wealth. Therefore, it is not uncommon for us to see that corruption occurs on a large scale in any country.
Do you remember that some of them have no nerves of shame? Why is that? Often those who make mistakes in their actions are not subject to the same legal process as the common people. In fact, they are increasingly being hailed as a boxer who wins and is highlighted by the sports lighter.
Some of us might answer with power, interest, influence, or other politically related terms. However, I believe, many of us will issue answers that tend to be negative, such as “politics is dirty”, “politics is a den of corruption”, “politics is a place to fight for power”, or “getting into office by justifying all means”.
These words are not without basis, they say politics as something dirty because they see the reality that there are many frauds that occur in terms of government politics in several countries. One of the consequences of the bad political image in this country is the departure of young people from this field. We, as young people who are identical with passionate spirit and high idealism, already consider politics to be dirty.
What is The Meaning of The Tie Rat?
Tie rat is a term given to officials or people with seats of power who dare to do heinous things in the form of theft and embezzlement of state funds. Where the two have a relationship. Namely, eating something out of the ordinary. A tie mouse wants to eat something that is not his right and a mouse animal wants to eat inanimate objects such as wood. In fact, there is still more decent food to eat. That is why corruptors are called tie rats. Corruption really makes our people suffer. Corruption has a negative impact in many ways and on anyone. In terms of discipline, corruption can damage children’s discipline. For example, parents give money to their children to go to school. This can make the child addicted and do not want to go to school before being given money.
Politics Always Push Other People?
We can see for ourselves how the country’s politicians compete in political contests such as general elections and local elections. They fought it out and to the last drop of blood for the sake of a victory. In fact, sometimes friends become political opponents or tough political rivals that must be fought for certain goals. In politics it’s fine. In politics nothing lasts forever and no friends last forever. It was different then and now. What has been given, will not necessarily be returned as expected in politics. So, politics is cruel and unpredictable.
Therefore, if you wanted to do politics, you must have a strong mentality. Otherwise, you will run around in the middle of the road and feel hurt and disappointed. If you wanted to do politics, you have to be prepared to accept the consequences. It must be known that in politics each has its own interests which will be achieved in any way. So, anyone who wants to enter the world of politics must mature up his mentality and improve his knowledge on political science again and be ready to accept all the consequences.
Are You Sure that Politics is Cruel?
Many ordinary people say that politics is bad. In fact, not infrequently people are anti-political problems because in their minds that politics is always synonymous with corruption. Official politics has become a discipline studied by many countries. No wonder so many students study political science because there are departments, there are faculties, and there are degrees. Many people doubt why politics should be studied. There is a corrupt principal and even the school building is considered political.
What would a country be without politics? A state without social justice alone is definitely authoritarian. Politics is not a term to describe corrupt behavior, but politics is all that deals with state activities. The founding fathers when formulating Pancasila was one of the political activities. Achieving independence is one of the political goals. In essence, politics is an activity for the welfare of the people. Often when we have to choose, we don’t choose the best but we choose so that the bad and the worst don’t have a chance to rule and rule over people.
Political events often involve surprises. There are surprises that raise expectations and enthusiasm but not infrequently some of these surprises make many people not only confused but also uncomfortable with the existing situation and even disrupt relationships. This kind of thing doesn’t just happen once or twice but many times, which ends up making a lot of people feel the same way about politics.

Without realizing it, our decision to stay away from politics because of its bad image has an impact on the political condition itself. Imagine if all young people who are intelligent and have ideals are reluctant to take part in the world of politics.
